Course Description

Course Description:

Vision affects the learning potential of children and is the key to academic success.  Occupational Therapists can help bridge the gap between learning-related visual problems and success in the classroom.  However, many OTs feel inadequately prepared to do so. This course will take an in-depth look at the oculomotor system and foundational skills needed for learning.  The participant will learn to screen for deficits, choose appropriate assessments and provide evidence-based intervention for effective results!
